Corporate Well-being Survey
Who are we?
Headspace is an award winning leading independent provider of therapeutic services. Founded by Mandy Nichols and Juliet Thornton in 2012. Both partners previously worked in the corporate sector for over 20 years, Juliet was a Chartered Surveyor and Mandy working in Marketing. Their corporate backgrounds mixed with their expertise in mental health give them insights into how to assist leaders with the many challenges they now face.
We work nationally with clients online and also have two private clinics in Leeds City Centre working face to face with individuals referred by our corporate partners.
What is it?
Developed by Headspace and created from many years experience working with organisations and senior executives, the Headspace Well-being Check-in is a psychological telephone assessment tool delivered by highly qualified Psychotherapists. Based on assessments used by the NHS and recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) it is developed in collaboration with our corporate partners. The Headspace Well-being Check-in assesses your employee’s well-being and may identify any potential performance, sustainability or psychological risk. It’s an opportunity to connect with your stakeholders who may be working remotely or not, to identify any support they may require. Some of our corporate partners for example has used it to assess their employees preference of working post COVID to be able to make some decisions on long term office space requirements. Some partners have used the Check-in to gain feedback on re-structures.
We aim to help you create a more balanced sustainable performance culture at work and this will encourage your employees to be more engaged with your organisation.
Why does my business need it?
COVID has had a dramatic impact on all of our lives. The changes within our circumstances and different ways of conducting our working life, whilst managing our relationships/families and fears about the future during a pandemic can have a considerable impact on our well-being.
The Well-being Check-in with work as part of your current well-being strategy, it will support your HR goals and your HSE Management Standards.
Many employees are remote working, some will have coping strategies for the complications this brings, others will not. The coping strategies used may be helpful and healthy, but others might eventually be destructive and problematic at home and in the workplace. Some may feel hopeless and struggle to manage feelings of being overwhelmed.
We know that it is important that employees feel good about themselves, their relationships, both professional and personal, their productivity, their working environment and contribution. Their physical and mental health is vital for a present and productive workforce.
